Marvel Rivals Season 2 Skins Have Caked Up Magik And Psylocke

Update: 11/04/2025 23:40pm BST – In an interesting turn of events, it appears as though several male characters have also been caked up even further in Season 2. That summer update is going to hit like a truck.

Marvel Rivals has never truly let fans down when it comes to the cake department. Almost every character has a rather refined posterior (except for you Star-Lord), and there are some characters that have almost certainly been given special attention by NetEase. Everyone who has seen a twerking Venom over the past few days can definitely attest to that.

However, it seems as though everyone’s favorite caked-up symbiote now has a bit of competition, as both Psylocke and Magik’s rears appear to have been greatly enhanced with the arrival of Season 2. While they look the same in their Season 1 and 1.5 skins, you can quite clearly see the difference when Psylocke and Magik are wearing their new X-Suit skins.

Before you start throwing gooner allegations at me, I will point out this was first noticed by a user on the Marvel Rivals subreddit, who posted screenshots of both Psylocke and Magik in their X-Suit skins. Psylocke is definitely the more notceable of the two at first glance, though you don’t really get a good idea of the differences without a comparison. Thankfully, we’re here to help.

In the gallery above, you can very clearly see Magik’s posterior is larger in the X-Suit compared to her default skin – there’s simply no getting around it. On the other hand, Psylocke’s case is strange. You can see from the images above that there is a clear difference when performing her Kiza emote, but she seems to be unchanged when she’s standing, which leads me to believe it’s an emote issue rather than something deliberate.

It may also be something that NetEase wants to address soon, because despite Marvel Rivals fans love for the rear, there’s actually a bit of pushback for Psylocke. In the same Reddit thread, a user called Taylor_Mega_Bytes says that Psylocke’s looks “comically bad”, and they’re not the only one. In any case, Venom is now at risk of losing his ‘best cake’ title with this update, though we all know he can shake it way better.
