Everything We Know About Secret Wars And Doomsday So Far

Last month, a wealth of alleged Secret Wars and Doomsday concept art was leaked online. While the Russo Brothers, who have returned to direct the duology, claim that the art isn’t from either of the upcoming Avengers movies, not everyone is convinced.

Secret Wars appears to be following the 2015 comic, in which Doctor Doom and Reed Richards create the Battleworld to escape the collapse of the multiverse.

Marvel is notoriously secretive, and when set photos of Andrew Garfield were shared online ahead of Spider-Man: No Way Home, they were likewise denied. Still, it’s worth taking these leaks with a grain of salt, as even if they are legitimate, concept art doesn’t necessarily mean that these ideas will carry into the film. And the Russo Brothers simply said that the art isn’t from Secret Wars or Doomsday, not that it’s fake, so perhaps they’re from another movie, though that seems unlikely.

The concept art shows Hulk, Skar, and She-Hulk in a strange village full of Hulks, likely part of Doom’s handcrafted Battleworld (which in the comics even features a police force of Thors — the Thor Corps). Speaking of Doom, we see him sitting on a medieval throne, ruling over and addressing his subjects. Star-Lord, meanwhile, is found palling around with a bunch of MCU characters, from White Vision and Kate Bishop to Wiccan and Ms. Marvel.

But perhaps the most exciting reveal from the concept art is that T’Chanda, who was Black Panther during World War 2, and Jocasta Pym, otherwise known as the bride of Ultron, will be appearing in the film. As it’s only just begun production, it’ll be a while before we see anything of substance, especially as Doomsday is set to release on May 1, 2026, while Secret Wars is slated to release May 7, 2027.
