Marvel Rivals Has Been Taken Over By Venom’s Twerking Emote

Players were unsure of what they were seeing when a mysterious new unlock appeared in the middle of the board game-styled Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure track. While it looked like a sketch of Venom’s backside, most people thought this just couldn’t be the case. Lo and behold, as of today, the Venom twerking emote is live, and it’s all over the Marvel Rivals servers.

Symbiote Seduction

Along with a new bright orange skin for Venom, if you book up a game of Marvel Rivals, you’re sure to see the symbiote shaking his backside as though he finally defeated Spider-Man. Things are especially worse in the Clone Rumble mode, where entire teams of Venom are literally shaking their booties together.

As pointed out by KindredKate on the Marvel Rivals subreddit, entire teams of Venom are just getting together for twerking dance parties. Is it silly? Yes. But is it fun? Also yes. It’s great to see that devs don’t take their games too seriously, and are fine with including stuff like this, especially with the Disney overlords watching over.

While it’s all fun, it seems some players are taking things too far by joining games as Venom only to twerk for the entirety of it. “They did nothing the whole round except twerk. Incredibly frustrating. I get the joke. But at a certain point (pretty quick) you’re ruining other people’s good time for it. Do it in DM. Do it in clone rumble. Go nuts. Just not in comp or qp,” said one player.

Another said, “Had a QP game earlier where both Venoms just twerked the entire match. I kind of respect the commitment and that neither broke it making it a fair 5 on 5 but man what a waste of time for a joke. It’s going to get tiresome quick.” It seems that while it’s funny for a bit, players actually want to play the game rather than watching their team mates twerk.
