Persona 4 Revival Won’t Launch Until At Least April 2026

Persona and Like A Dragon publisher Sega has been crushing it recently, releasing back-to-back bangers such as Like: A Dragon Infinite Wealth, Persona 3 Reload, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Unicorn Overlord, and a lot more. Its output has been pretty phenomenal, and with Persona 4 Revival and Stranger Than Heaven on the horizon, that’s not set to change any time soon.

We know that both games are coming, but Sega has been a little bit hesitant to share release dates when it showed off both during this summer’s showcases. Instead, it’s opted to give us very vague release windows for both games during a management meeting earlier today, and if you were hoping for Persona 6 any time soon, you’re out of luck.

On slide 27 of the presentation, Sega lays out its “Medium-term pipeline”, showcasing all the titles it has coming in 2025 and beyond. At the bottom of the slide, Sega mentions that both Persona 4 Revival and Stranger Than Heaven currently have a release window of FY2027 or beyond, with the exact release timing for both still to be determined.

Everyday sure is great at your Junes, but will Persona 4 Revival finally be what makes me like more about P4 than just that jingle?

That’s not much to go on right now, but it does reveal that Persona 4 Revival and Stranger Than Heaven won’t launch until after April 1, 2026, ruling out an Early 2026 launch for both games. That being said, Sega does reveal that it plans on releasing at least “4 mainstay titles” in both FY2027 and FY2028, so both titles could release within the next couple of years.

Sega has claimed in the past that it wants to have annual releases for its biggest franchises, and with Persona 5: The Phantom X coming later this year, that clears up 2026 for a potential Persona 4 Revival release. Unfortunately, that also means we’re probably not getting Persona 6 until at least 2027, possibly later, so buckle up for a pretty long wait for that one.
