There are four weapon types in Roblox’s Hunters, namely, Sword, Greatsword, Dagger, and Staff. Each of them has two unique abilities that determine overall weapon performance. Some of them are stronger and would be the best choice to clear dungeons without issues, while others are slightly worse or even useless.
To help you make the right choice, we will break down each weapon in the game, highlighting the best options you should pick. Here’s how we ranked them:
- S-Tier – These are the most effective weapons in the game, with the highest damage output and advantageous abilities.
- A-Tier – A decent pick, with pretty powerful skills but slightly lower damage compared to the S-tier.
- B-Tier – These weapons are a decent choice if you’re a beginner, but the lack of strong spells prevents them from being placed in the highest tiers.
- C-Tier – It is a horrible choice, and not worth your attention unless you are an extremely skillful player.

If you want to be a long-range fighter, the Staff is your only choice since it is the sole weapon that allows you to attack from a distance. The Fireball skill has extremely high AoE damage, perfect for destroying a group of enemies with a single attack. On top of that, you can effectively recover your health using the Heal ability if someone lands a hit on you. Featuring two mighty skills, the Staff deservedly receives a place in the S-tier, leaving behind all the other weapons in the game. |

Moving forward to the B-tier, the Sword is a good weapon for beginners, featuring average attack speed and damage output. It allows you to effectively deal with a group of monsters due to the Barrage skill that hits enemies ahead of you. Moreover, you can also use the Sword Thrust ability, which is a good attack against solo opponents but pretty much useless against the crowd. The Sword is a good weapon. Greatsword |
The Greatsword features the highest damage output in the game but also the slowest attack speed. As with any other weapon, it has two skills: Vertical Slash and Horizontal Slash.
