Anime To Watch Based On Your Zodiac Sign

Here, we are going to take a look at recommended anime for you to watch based on your zodiac sign. These anime involve traits that may line up with your sign, but overall, it’s meant to serve as inspiration to help you decide what to watch next. Additionally, we’ve included some unconventional choices that may be new to you!

12

Aries

Chainsaw Man

First up, we have Chainsaw Man for the Aries zodiac sign. Those with this sign are passionate, confident, and full of energy. This is very on-brand with Chainsaw Man, especially when looking at the main character, Denji.

Sure, his goal is rather simple and straightforward (we won’t spoil how absurd it is), but you can’t argue that he isn’t passionate about it. There is no denying that the boldness of Chainsaw Man is worthy of an Aries.

11

Taurus

One Piece

If you are a Taurus, then you may be grounded, loyal, dependable, and just a bit stubborn. What’s more dependable than an anime that’s been airing since 1999? While there are been breaks here and there, you can still watch well over 1,100 One Piece episodes, with more actively coming out.

One Piece is the ultimate comfort show, especially if you grew up watching it. The main cast of characters are all wonderful, and the world is filled with so much life. Watching One Piece is like being with a dependable friend.

10

Gemini

Assassination Classroom

Geminis are playful, curious, and social butterflies. While the name of this anime may not sound like it matches up, Assassination Classroom is a beautiful story about a class that comes together. At times, the show is very humorous, but there are also moments that are more serious and emotionally touching.

There are a lot of characters in Assassination Classroom, but throughout the course of the show, you’ll get to know almost all of them. Come for the silly premise and weird yellow alien, stay for the character development and story.

9

Cancer

Laid-Back Camp

Cancers are often seen as caretakers, providing a shoulder for others to lean on. Rather than doing the caretaking though, cozy up on the couch with a blanket and let Laid-Back Camp take care of you instead.

This anime is considered an Iyashikei, which translates to healing in Japanese. Anime of this genre are relaxing and soothing, providing a moment of calm in an otherwise busy life. Laid-Back Camp definitely matches the vibe of Cancers, making it worth the watch.

8

Leo

Haikyu!!

Leos are leaders, displaying confidence, loyalty, and dedication. We can see no better fit than Haikyu!!, which follows the sports journey of the Karasuno High School volleyball team. In addition to learning a bit about the sport, you can also witness the power of teamwork.

The players on the team, as well as other teams in the show, all show dedication to the sport and team, which is quite inspiring. The main character, Hinata, perfectly exemplifies Leo traits, even if he isn’t a Leo himself.

7

Virgo

Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War

Virgos are full of intelligence mixed with focus and attention to detail. Along the way, this can also cause some overthinking though. The perfect anime for those with this sign is Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War, which is filled to the brim with wit and overthinking.

Shojo anime is targeted towards young women, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy it! Here are the best shojo anime of all time.

Though the show is set in a school with no fantastical happenings, you can expect to see full psychological battles ensue, usually brought on by a bout of overthinking. This anime is also hilarious and fast-paced, making for a great watch.

6

Libra

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is an absolutely beautiful story that follows the tititular elf-mage. Rather than forming a party to vanquish evil though, she is on a journey to find the resting place for her former party.

This anime is genuine, heartfelt, and adventurous, making it perfect for Libras. Like a Libra, Frieren is elegant and balanced. Though Frieren herself is old and powerful, she still has a lot to learn in terms of humanity; her character development throughout the course of the show is touching.

5

Scorpio

Fruits Basket

First, let’s get the obvious out of the way. Fruits Basket is an anime about the Chinese Zodiac, so you can technically find something for everyone here. As a whole though, Fruits Basket is the perfect show for Scorpios.

This sign is passionate and intense, which also perfectly describes Fruits Basket. The show starts off as a light-hearted story, but eventually, it will transform into a deeply emotional journey that will probably leave you in tears.

4

Sagittarius

Princess Jellyfish

The Sagittarius sign is known for being optimistic, curious, adaptable, and fun. Truth be told, a lot of anime can fit this, especially with the adaptability trait. If we had to choose one though, it would be Princess Jellyfish. This is the story of Tsukimi, who is a jellyfish otaku living in a building with other types of otaku.

This is my favorite anime on the list! I highly recommend checking out the manga, as well as other manga from the author (Tokyo Tarareba Girls is also a hilarious manga that I absolutely love).

The characters of Princess Jellyfish are set in their way, but after meeting Kuranosuke, they begin to break out of their shells and experience new things. The show itself is incredibly funny and witty, making it worth the watch regardless of your zodiac sign.

3

Capricorn

My Hero Academia

Capricorns are ambitious and determined, making them the perfect fit for My Hero Academia. This anime is immensely popular, bringing us into a world where seemingly ordinary people can have superpowers, or ‘quirks’.

Obviously, a series about superheroes has many heroic figures in its cast. However, discounting the students, how many are there in MHA?

The characters in My Hero Academia attend the prestigious U.A. High School, which trains heroes into becoming professional. Like a few other shows on our list, there is a lot of characters here; they are all passionate about what they do though, showcasing true Capricorn traits.

2

Aquarius

Monster

Monster is a masterpiece, but it often feels a bit underrated within the anime community. This show follows Kenzo Tenma, who works as a brain surgeon in Germany. Very early into the show, he has to make an important decision (no spoilers here!) that ultimately sets off the rest of the events in the show.

Overall, Monster is intelligent, mysterious, and rebellious; just like an Aquarius. Watching Monster is a bit of a slow burn, but it more than pays off as you begin to learn exactly what is going on in Tenma’s world.

1

Pisces

Mushishi

Last but not least, we have Mushishi for the Pisces zodiac sign. Those of this sign are creative, spiritual, and compassionate. We can’t think of any other show besides Mushishi that really embodies this!

Mushishi is a dreamy show about Ginko, looking to find his place in the world. There is no overarching story in this anime, but you’ll be able to follow along with Ginko in the mushi-filled world. Overall, this show is mesmerizing and hypnotic, making it perfect for the spiritual and creative Pisces.
