Chrono Odyssey Boss Watched Beta Streams For A Whole Day Straight, Promises “Improved Experience”

Chrono Odyssey’s closed beta test did not go as Chrono Studio would have hoped. Numerous reports of the game being janky and broken were submitted during the period, and to make things worse, there were even accusations of the game being a straight up copy-paste of New World.

Of course, getting feedback is the whole point of a closed beta test, but when players have an issue with the entire game, the studio has a lot to go back and think about. While CEO Bong-gun Bae has revealed that the CBT build was a previous version of the game, which has now been improved internally, the feedback has been closely tracked.

Chrono Studio Spent Almost 24 Hours Watching Streams And Noting Feedback

“After the 3-day CBT ended, I spent a great deal of time monitoring every livestream on Twitch and YouTube,” said Bong-gun Bae on Twitter. “On the final day in particular, I stayed up for nearly 24 hours straight, watching player reactions and feedback in real time.” It’s good knowing that the CEO has been paying close attention to what players have been saying about Chrono Odyssey.

“Together with our directors and our Vice President, we had many deep and thoughtful discussions. We are truly, wholeheartedly committed to this game. Please look forward to the upcoming videos, developer notes, and future announcements,” the tweet continued. “With new elements to be tested in the second CBT, our team is already bracing for another intense and fast-paced period of development.”

With all the issues that were flagged in the first closed beta, the studio will hopefully be able to show a much better version of the MMO in the second test. Bong-gun Bae also mentioned that the team is committed to improving the game and that all relevant feedback is being monitored and addressed. “It’s my duty to face all feedback head-on. Once again, thank you — sincerely.”

“We’ve taken in all your thoughts with open minds, and we promise to return with a thoroughly improved experience,” concluded the tweet.
