Elden Ring Nightreign Player Somehow One Shot The Darkdrift Knight In Solo

Elden Ring Nightreign bosses are notoriously tough, with huge health pools and elaborate attacks that can flatten even the best of teams. But one player managed to take down Fulghor, Champion of Nightglow (ie the Darkdrift Knight) in a single shot.

It might look like u/Extension-Leg5493 is cheating at first glance, with their enormous health, magic, and stamina bars, but it’s a legitimate build that you can put together if the RNG gods roll in your favour—you just need to find a Grafted Blade Greatsword.

How To One Shot A Boss In Elden Ring Nightreign

When equipped, even in your off-hand, every single kill nets you a slight buff to health, magic, stamina, damage dealt, and damage resistance.

Usually, there’s a ceiling on how strong you can get, because you can only kill so many enemies before the circle closes in and you’re forced to fight the final boss of that night. But some, like Wormface or Duke’s Dear Freja, spawn an infinite number of enemies so long as they’re left alive. Since there’s no timer during the final fight of each day, that means you can farm enemies with the Grafted Blade Greatsword for as long as you want.

By the end, they had 19,000 HP and over 5,000 damage.

With an unfathomable damage buff thanks to Wormface and their minions, u/Extension-Leg5493 was able to kill Fulghor with a single shot of their greatbow, cinching the victory without breaking a sweat. If you want to follow in their footsteps, it’s entirely dependent on you getting the right weapon and boss in a single run, but that’s the roguelite genre in a nutshell: every so often, you get an unfathomably broken build.

There is a catch, however. If you’re not careful and get killed while farming with the Grafted Blade Greatsword—which is all too easy against opponents like Wormface, given their insta-kill Deathblight status ailment—you lose all the buffs you’ve accumulated and are sent back to square one. But if you manage to sweep a bunch of kills without dying, it’s easily the most broken weapon in Nightreign, capable of trivialising even the hardest boss fights.
