GTA 6 Trailer 2 Is Finally Here

Summary

  • Rockstar has just released the second trailer for GTA 6.
  • The trailer gives us our best look at Lucia and Jason yet.
  • It comes after GTA 6 was pushed into 2026, missing its initial 2025 release window.

The next trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 is finally here. This trailer focuses on the story, introducing us to our dual protagonists, Lucia and Jason.

This comes more than a year after the first trailer was shared, which teased the return to Vice City. Now, this trailer focuses on the new player characters, showing Lucia and Jason reuniting after the former’s stint in prison and returning to a life of crime.

Grand Theft Auto 6 Trailer 2 Is Here, At Long Last

Vice City, baby!

The trailer’s description expands on GTA 6’s story a little more.

Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.

In the trailer, we see Jason collecting Lucia after she is released from prison. It seems that they join forces in a crime spree pretty soon after this, but as the description suggests, something goes wrong, pulling them even further into the criminal underworld.

The trailer also confirms the full names of our new protagonists: Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval.

Fans had been coming up with all sorts of theories on when Rockstar would finally give us the second trailer. But after all of that, naturally, it was dropped on us on a random Tuesday. That is probably what we should have come to expect by now.

This also comes after Rockstar finally confirmed that, just like the rumours suggested, GTA 6 will not be releasing this year after all. At the very least, it now has a more specific release date of May 26, 2026, which is actually the date that both Bonnie and Clyde were laid to rest (Clyde on May 25, and Bonnie on May 26). I suppose if you have to delay a game, you might as well have fun with it.
