Summary
- The second wave of pre-orders for Pokemon’s life-size Eeveelution plushes has begun.
- Umbreon and Espeon are now available and cost $399.99 each.
- Pre-orders will close on June 13, and the third and final wave of plushes will be available shortly after that.
Pokemon tends to reveal its life-size – or Pokedex-size – plushes one at a time due to how big and expensive they are. However, it bucked that trend to celebrate the Year of Eevee, revealing Pokedex-size plushes for all eight Eeveelutions all in one go.
The good news is that even though they were all shown off at the same time, their additions to the Pokemon Center have been staggered. The pre-order period for Flareon, Jolteon, and Vaporeon’s plushes took place earlier this month, and now you can place your pre-orders for Espeon and Umbreon if those are the Eeveelutions you’ve had your eye on.
If you missed the pre-order period for the first three Pokedex-size Eeveelutions, they are now listed as sold out. Pokemon hasn’t confirmed whether there will be a second chance to buy them.
If you’re unfamiliar with Pokemon’s life-size plushes, then the price reveal for Espeon and Umbreon might come as a bit of a shock to the system. The oversized plushes are $399.99 each, and no, unfortunately, I have not put the decimal point in the wrong place by mistake.
Umbreon And Espeon’s Life-Size Plushes Are Here
This Is How Big They Are In The Games, Can You Believe That?
While that’s a lot to pay for any plush, regardless of size, these new Eeveelutions are big enough to effectively qualify as furniture. Umbreon is 31 inches long, and Espeon is one of the biggest of the eight Pokedex-size Eeveelutions, measuring in at almost 33 inches long. If you want one, or you’re lucky enough that you can afford both, the pages are live now, and you can place your pre-orders using the links in the box below.
If you only want to buy one, and you’re trying to decide which one to get, remember, even though you missed out on the first drop, there’s still a third pre-order period to come. That’s when Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon’s Pokedex-size plushes will be available to pre-order. The pre-order window for Umbreon and Espeon’s plushes closes on June 13, so the final three should be available shortly after that.
Even though you can pre-order the plushes now, they won’t ship for a while. Their store pages estimate a November 2025 release date, so the perfect holiday gift for anyone in your life who has an Eeveelution they love enough to keep a massive version of one in their home, and who you love enough to spend $400 on. If you don’t have that much to spend, and you don’t want to wait until the holidays, Eevee and all eight of its evolved forms are also part of Pokemon’s new Ditto Days plush collection.
