Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 Remake Is Getting Taco Bell-Themed Content In A New Collab

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 Remake is real, and its release date of July 11 is rapidly approaching. While the career mode of THPS 4 continues to be a point of contention, the game has confirmed that Bam Margera will be in the game, which should make long-time fans of the franchise very happy.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Sure Has A Lot Of Product Placement

Airport has as many brands as, well, a real airport.

That said, in typical Pro Skater fashion there will be a load of advertisements and real-life brands, including Taco Bell, which is teaming up with Tony Hawk for a collaboration that will also include multiple downloadable items. Unfortunately, you’re going to need to eat five weeks’ worth of Taco Bell to get all of them.

As shared online by multiple news outlets, Taco Bell and the Pro Skater 3+4 Remake will see the release of a Tony Hawk-themed meal, and beginning July 11 you’ll unlock an in-game item for every real-life meal box you buy. From a skateboard to a vest, essentially an entire outfit and board setup will be behind these in-game codes.

The cheapest box is $5, so you’ll need to spend at minimum $25 to get everything, on top of the lovely distinction of eating Taco Bell for five weeks.

Fast Food Partnerships With Gaming Have Grown Exponentially

If you thought that the Tony Hawk x Taco Bell promotion was particularly egregious, then you haven’t seen anything yet. It’s just one of several recent real-life collaborations involving fast food companies and games, with DLC being tied to food purchases.

Back in 2024, Funko Fusion partnered with KFC for a promo that required $25 in orders for the entire set of in-game skins. Elsewhere, Doom: The Dark Ages locked an exclusive skin to a pizza chain that has just 15 locations, of which 10 are in California and all close to each other. Call of Duty has also similarly partnered with Little Caesar’s for randomized rewards, including things as useless as emblems.

In other words, the fast food DLC wave has really just begun.
