One Piece is undoubtedly one of the all-time great manga and anime series that has not lost one bit of its popularity since 1999. Toei Animation adapted the work of Eiichiro Oda, leading to more than 1,000 episodes for fans to enjoy
One Piece follows the story of Monkey D. Luffy and his crew chasing after the legendary (and titular) treasure, One Piece. As the story around the Straw Hat Pirates develops, viewers and readers are taken to distant civilizations, the high seas, and everywhere in between. If you’re trying to get into the anime, here are our suggestions for where to watch the show.

Best Websites And Streaming Platforms To Watch One Piece Episodes
One Piece is available to watch on very trustworthy streaming platforms like Netflix, Hulu, Funimation, Crunchyroll, and a few others. However, how many episodes are available on these platforms can vary heavily.
We do not suggest using piracy or third-party sites to obtain these episodes. It’s easy to accidentally download a virus or for your episodes to end up in a bad resolution, harming your viewing experience.
Crunchyroll
Crunchyroll is possibly the best platform to watch anime, including One Piece. The great thing about this platform is that it uploads the latest episode right after it streams in Japan. So, you won’t come across many spoilers before watching the episode yourself.
Crunchyroll is preferred by millions of anime watchers, and it has undoubtedly become one of the most trustworthy platforms. However, like most platforms, it also requires a subscription. There’s a free trial, but to be honest, One Piece is such a long-running show that your free trial would almost certainly run out before you finished the show.
- Contains every available episode
- Uploads new episodes as soon as it streams in Japan
- Is the best choice for watching One Piece
Funimation
Funimation also has every episode of One Piece up to episode 1097 for free. With a premium pass, you can watch all episodes ad-free, as well as any One Piece movie that Funimation has.
That said, Funimation has recently announced that it will be moving to Crunchyroll. It may be better to watch on Crunchyroll to start so that you don’t lose your place during the transfer.
- Has every episode available
- Also has the One Piece movies
- Funimation is merging with Crunchyroll, “removing” this option
Hulu
Hulu has 11 seasons of One Piece ready to watch as soon as you subscribe to any of their plans. This equates to 744 episodes overall, which is well over half of what’s been released. If you already have Hulu, this is a great place to start watching the show.
- Hulu only has up to season 11
- This equates to 744 episodes of more than 1,100
- Missing some other One Piece content
- Good choice if you have it, but not the best choice
Netflix
One Piece on Netflix is available in only a handful of countries. Netflix also frequently switches what shows they have available, which means that you may find them knocking One Piece off the viewing list before you’re done with the lengthy show.
One important note is that Netflix has the One Piece Live Action. If you’re looking to watch this highly acclaimed show, Netflix is the only place to do so. Because of this, it’s a good idea to get Netflix to watch the Live Action and watch some of the anime while you’re at it.
- Netflix currently has up to episode 1,116
- Netflix frequently shifts their viewing list
- Netflix also carries the One Piece Live Action for viewing

Amazon
Amazon Prime also carries the One Piece anime, but they don’t carry the whole series. Since this is included in an Amazon Prime subscription, it’s worth seeing if they have the episodes you’d like to watch. Most people already have Amazon Prime either for its music, streaming, shipping, or gaming benefits, so if you already have it, why not check?
- Amazon carries the vast majority of the show as of writing this, up to 1,116
- Amazon uses a trial of Crunchyroll, meaning it might be better to just use Crunchyroll
HBO Max
HBO Max does not stream One Piece in most regions, restricting it mostly to Latin America. It does, however, carry some One Piece movies for streaming in other regions of the world.
Disney+
Disney+ does have some streaming, but they only carry a few seasons of the show. If you already have a Disney+ subscription, it’s worth watching it there to see if you like the show. We do not recommend subscribing to Disney+ solely for One Piece.

Pluto TV
Pluto TV has almost 600 episodes of One Piece that are continuously streamed over a live TV channel dedicated to the anime. This isn’t our first choice, but if you already have a subscription, it’s a good place to check.
Pluto TV also isn’t available in all locations. Given that they only have 9 seasons available, it might be better to focus on other platforms.
